Overview
Citizens of many countries need a visitor visa (temporary resident visa) to travel to Canada; others need an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to fly here. Visitors can usually stay for up to 6 months. Officers must be satisfied that you'll leave Canada at the end of your visit.
